Liability and Publicity Release: I understand running in a road race is potentially dangerous. I should not enter and run unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any race official's decision relative to my ability to complete the run safely. I assume all risks associated with running in the Earth Day 5K Run/Walk, including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including rain, high heat and/or humidity, traffic, and the conditions of the road, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. I am aware that the medical support for this event may be volunteers who will be prepared to administer first aid assistance. I further agree that no refund is allowed as my registration and assumed participation cover the event's costs. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the Earth Day 5K Run/Walk , the Bill & Michelle Howe Foundation, Madison Events Production, LLC, The Loft at 132 - Mimi's Music Lounge, the City Of Sun Prairie, the County of Dane and all volunteers, advertisers, sponsors, their representatives and successors, from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver. I also understand and agree that there are NO entry fee refunds for any reason, including injury. I grant permission to use my image or likeness in any recording of this event for advertising, marketing, or other legal manners of promotion. I agree to these terms for myself or as the legal guardian of a participating minor.
